Lassonde 3rd year student David Recchia and his teammates, Patricia Dhup and Ario Hadian, represented Lassonde at the first ever National Geomatics Competition hosted by the University of New Brunswick.

The competition began on the morning of Saturday, February 17 at 8.00 am, when each team was given a problem dealing with the various aspects of Geomatics. The competition allocated only 6 hours to each group to create a solution to the problem at hand. Shortly after, the teams presented their answers in front of a panel of judges, consisting of professionals in the industry.

Recchia's team rose to the challenge and powered through it.
