TEPS Training Program 2019

Posted on

The Lassonde School of Engineering hosted the third annual Technologies for Exo-Planetary Science (TEPS) CREATE summer school workshop at the Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence last week.

The yearly TEPS workshop is funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s (NSERC) Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) Grants program.

In addition to receiving guest lectures from industry partners and professors within York, the three-day workshop also included a tour of industry partner headquarters. This year’s students had the opportunity to visit MDA in Brampton, Ontario, a global leader in space robotics, surveillance and intelligence and satellite systems.
