TAC Foundation – Amec Foster Wheeler

Description: Amec Foster Wheeler recognizes the increasing complexity of transportation issues and the need for future professionals to have the education base needed to develop innovative and sustainable solutions. This scholarship is an investment in the future of Canadian transportation.

TAC Foundation – ATS Traffic

TAC Foundation – CCMTA Road Safety Scholarship

Description: CCMTA, the official organization in Canada for coordinating all matters dealing with the administration, regulation and control of motor vehicle transportation and highway safety, is providing educational support for professionals who wish to pursue a specialty in a holistic road safety education.

Eligibility: Must be a Canadian undergraduate or graduate student studying in a road safety discipline.

TAC Foundation – Dillon Consulting Limited

Description: Providing a multi-modal balanced transportation–system and delivering the related policies, programs and infrastructure in a safe, cost-efficient and environmental friendly manner is key to economic health and environmental sustainability. Description: EllisDon provides the infrastructure many take for granted every day: roads, bridges, major transportation hubs and systems, purification plants, as well as many other complex plants and processes. Literally, community building.

Eligibility: Must be a Canadian undergraduate or graduate student studying in a Transportation-related discipline.

TAC Foundation – Golder Associates Ltd.

Description: Golder Associates has over 50 years experience in consulting, design and construction specializing in services related to earth, environment and energy. Service offerings to clients in transportation include groundwater/surface water, ground engineering, pavement/materials engineering, noise and air quality, site clean-up, archaeology and environmental monitoring.

Eligibility: Must be a Canadian undergraduate or graduate student studying in a Transportation-related discipline, preferably in the ground engineering or environmental science area.

Minerva Canada - James Ham Safe Design Awards

Deadline: Must contact Minerva Canada by February 2, 2018

                Applications are due April 13, 2018

Value: $3,500 (First) & $1,500 (Second)

Description: Through these awards, Minerva Canada and the WSIB honour James Ham, whose Royal Commission Report on Health and Safety led to the creation of Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act and to the adoption of the Internal Responsibility System in Ontario workplaces.

Eligibility: Applicants must be an undergraduate engineering student enrolled at a Canadian University, College Technology, or OHS program.
