Canadian Cancer Society - Innovation and Innovation to Impact Grants
The Canadian Cancer Society will be accepting applications to its Innovation Grant and Innovation Impact Grant Programs. A summary of each program is provided below.
A special call for breast cancer research is included these competitions. For applicants wishing to be considered under the breast cancer research initiative, a relevance statement is required that explicitly demonstrates how the project is relevant to breast cancer.
Innovation Grants
Objective
To support the highest quality creative quality creative problem solving in cancer research.
Value
Up to $100K/year to a maximum of $200K per grant
Duration
Up to 3 years
Deadlines
Submission to ORS – January 3, 2019
Submission to agency – January 15, 2019

Innovation for Impact Grants
Objective
To support the further development of significant findings based on the goals originally explored through a funded CCS Innovation Grant.
Note: Only investigators with a funded Innovation Grant with a project end date between January 1, 2016 and July 31, 2019 are eligible for this program.
Value
Up to $150K/year to a maximum of $450K per grant
Duration
Up to 3 years
Deadlines
