Community Outreach

Lassonde School of Engineering is committed to building and maintaining partnerships with our communities. Lassonde Students and staff are involved in various programs to inspire young girls to pursue studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Our goals are to:

  1. Inspire, inform and involve students.
  2. Provide opportunities for university students to mentor their younger peers
  3. Communicate outreach activities and success stories

ECOO

Lassonde School of Engineering hosts the ECOO programming Contest which is designed for high school students. The Educational Computing Organization of Ontario (ECOO) is a non-profit organization that facilitates the integration of new computing technology into the education curriculum.
