CFI JELF 2024 – 2025

York University has a CFI JELF allocation for 2022-2025. Lassonde has a selection process to pick top applicants to be forwarded to CFI. We will be selecting one application per call (held twice per year) until 2025. We are inviting all eligible faculty members to submit an application to the internal Lassonde competition.
Value: Up to $280K

NSERC Alliance Quantum: Advancing the Industrial Readiness of Quantum Sensing Technologies

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) have partnered through the NSERC Alliance Quantum Grants. This funding opportunity aims to strengthen Canada’s quantum research and innovation capacity in quantum sensing and advance the development and application of technologies in this domain for the benefit of Canadians.
Value: $100K – $350K/year
Duration: 1 – 3 years

NSERC Idea to Innovation (I2I) Grants

I2I grants provide funding to college and university faculty members to support research and development projects with recognized technology transfer potential
Value: $15K (MA) | $125K (Ia) | $60K (Ib) | $125K (IIa) | $350K (IIb)
Duration: 12 months (MA) | 12 months (Ia) | 6 months (Ib) | 6 months – 18 months (IIa) | 24 months (IIb)
