Simon Foundation Autism Research Initiative: 2019 Research Award

The Simon Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) recently announced a Request for Applications (RFA) for its Research Awards program. These grants are intended to provide support for the investigation of key unresolved research questions in autism.  A summary is provided below.  

To provide support for investigation of key unresolved research questions in autism, particularly those that connect genetic etiologies to brain function and behavior.

Research Awards are intended for investigators with demonstrated experience who are requesting support for compelling, high-impact research on an experimental hypothesis for which preliminary data have already been gathered.

Value: Up to $1.3M

Required Overhead: 20%

Duration: Up to 4 years

Application due at ORS – December 19, 2018
