Welcome to Lassonde's Orientation Week!

Orientation week or "Weekzero" is a week filled with fun and informative activities, which helps new students ease their transition into University life. At its core it is a celebration of you making it into University. It gives us an opportunity to welcome you all to your new home for your next 4 (or more) years.

This week provides students the opportunity to get to know their campus, their peers and prepare for their first year at University. It is a wonderful experience for all new students to share, where they make friends, bonds, connection and memories they'll cherish throughout their University life. Take a look at weekzero.ca

While weekzero is an optional week, an important aspect of this week is the York Orientation Day a.k.a Lassonde's Academic Orientation day.  York Orientation Day is an important and required event for all new Lassonde undergraduate students. On this day, you will be introduced to strategies and resources to help you successfully adjust to the challenges of University life and get tips for success inside and outside the classroom. You will also meet the Dean and other key faculty and staff members from the Lassonde School of Engineering.

When: Wednesday, September 6th, 2017, 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Please try to arrive early prior to sign in.
