We offer studies leading to the degrees of\u00a0Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science\u00a0(including a non-thesis, project-based\u00a0specialization in Artificial Intelligence),\u00a0Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science\u00a0as well as\u00a0Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering. These degree programs consist of courses and research conducted under faculty member supervision. Our internship program offers a combination of industry and academic experience for students.<\/p>\n<p>Our department also runs, jointly with the\u00a0Department of Computational Arts, a\u00a0Graduate Program in Digital Media, offering studies leading to the degrees of Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Digital Media. The program provides the opportunity to do specialized hybrid research work, uniquely combining computational science and artistic practices. Work in digital media focuses on a broad range of current and emerging forms of digitally supported media, with applications that range from computer games to interactive art.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For entry into Fall, our application is available October 15\u2014 December 15. It is meant to prepare students to apply AI concepts in the workplace. Applications open in October each year for entry in the following September. Besides a web form and application fee payment, all other items listed for upload are mandatory (such as academic transcripts and degree certificates, statement of purpose, CV and three references). Note that one of the required steps is to upload our program&#8217;s Supplementary Application Form which is available in MyFile once you&#8217;ve applied. The supplementary application form will ask you to specify the preferred research area \u2013 this is important information, as faculty members chose perspective students to be admitted among the pool of eligible applicants who meet the minimum admission requirements (refer to course pages linked above for requirements). In order to do so, you will be asked to provide the email address of your referees in MyFile. The system will email your referees with a link that referees can use to fill their assessment.
