The financial support for each full\u2013time Masters student in the Program is approximately $27,000\/year. Excellent applicants will be considered for entrance scholarships of $4,000 each. Students who are awarded an external scholarship can receive up to $31,000\/year.        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-accordion-item-block accordion-item js-accordion-item accordion-item--small\">        <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-title js-accordion-title\">MSc with Specialization in AI program information<\/button>\n\n        <div class=\"accordion-body js-accordion-body\">\n            <br>Unlike other programs, this specialization is not funded, but financial support is available to excellent students in the form of scholarships or internships. Particularly, since our program is officially recognized by the Vector Institute, our students will be eligible under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vectorinstitute.ai\/aimasters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vector Scholarships in Artificial Intelligence<\/a>, valued at $17,500 for one year.        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-accordion-item-block accordion-item js-accordion-item accordion-item--small\">        <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-title js-accordion-title\">PhD Program<\/button>\n\n        <div class=\"accordion-body js-accordion-body\">\n            Every full\u2013time Ph.D. student is considered for financial support for their first twelve terms (48 months) in the program. The financial support for each full\u2013time Ph.D. student in the Program is approximately $29,000\/year.  Students who are awarded an external scholarship can receive up to $33,000\/year.        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n    <script>\n    require([\n        'kindling',\n        'kindling\/plugins\/accordion'\n    ], function (K) {\n        new K.Accordion($('.js-accordion'), {allowAllClosed: true, multiExpand: true});\n    });\n    <\/script>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Internal financial support can include the following components<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-accordion-block\">\n    <div class=\"accordion js-accordion\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-accordion-item-block accordion-item js-accordion-item accordion-item--small\">        <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-title js-accordion-title\">Teaching Assistantships<\/button>\n\n        <div class=\"accordion-body js-accordion-body\">\n            Teaching assistantships (TA) are normally offered to all full\u2013time Ph.D. students and all full\u2013time 1st-year M.Sc. students. Currently, a full teaching assistantship is valued approximately at $16,000. Each full TA requires the tutoring of undergraduate students and\/or grading of assignments and tests. A full TA requires 270 hours of work. Note: there is a graduate financial assistance benefit of $590\/term (i.e. up to $1770\/year) for students who hold a TA; this benefit is in addition to the financial support amounts mentioned above.        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-accordion-item-block accordion-item js-accordion-item accordion-item--small\">        <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-title js-accordion-title\">Scholarships<\/button>\n\n        <div class=\"accordion-body js-accordion-body\">\n            Lassonde Entrance Scholarship of $4,000 per student is available to first-year Masters students, who are admitted with a grade of &#8220;A&#8221; or better.         <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-accordion-item-block accordion-item js-accordion-item accordion-item--small\">        <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-title js-accordion-title\">Research Assistantships<\/button>\n\n        <div class=\"accordion-body js-accordion-body\">\n            Additional funds in the form of research assistantships are available to students. This is financial support from a faculty member&#8217;s research grant. Normally, a student will receive such support from their thesis supervisor. This support entails the expectation of some assistance provided by the student towards the granting faculty member&#8217;s research.        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-accordion-item-block accordion-item js-accordion-item accordion-item--small\">        <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-title js-accordion-title\">International Student Tuition Scholarships<\/button>\n\n        <div class=\"accordion-body js-accordion-body\">\n            These scholarships help international students cover their higher tuition fees; they are currently valued at $4,800 per year; normally, all full\u2013time international graduate students receive them.        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-accordion-item-block accordion-item js-accordion-item accordion-item--small\">        <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-title js-accordion-title\">Bursaries<\/button>\n\n        <div class=\"accordion-body js-accordion-body\">\n            Funds are available to visa students, to assist them with the payment of fees.
