Nous croyons fermement que la diversit\u00e9 des points de vue n\u2019est pas seulement b\u00e9n\u00e9fique, mais qu\u2019elle est absolument essentielle pour aborder les questions complexes de notre \u00e9poque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est pourquoi Lassonde s\u2019engage pleinement \u00e0 d\u00e9manteler les barri\u00e8res syst\u00e9miques dans les disciplines STIM. Nous reconnaissons que les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes traditionnels, l\u2019acc\u00e8s in\u00e9gal aux possibilit\u00e9s, les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s implicites et le manque de diversit\u00e9 entravent notre progr\u00e8s collectif. Nous sommes d\u00e9termin\u00e9s \u00e0 changer cela en favorisant la d\u00e9colonisation, l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, la diversit\u00e9 et l\u2019inclusion dans nos programmes et nos initiatives, et en veillant \u00e0 ce que notre communaut\u00e9 soit \u00e9quip\u00e9e pour relever les d\u00e9fis mondiaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2022-2023, nous avons travaill\u00e9 dur pour offrir \u00e0 nos \u00e9tudiant(e)s des occasions incroyables et une communaut\u00e9 accueillante gr\u00e2ce aux initiatives de notre acad\u00e9mie k2i, du programme Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology (BEST) et de nouvelles activit\u00e9s telles qu\u2019une soir\u00e9e de r\u00e9seautage entre \u00e9tudiant(e)s de premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration et ancien(ne)s \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Cette ann\u00e9e, nos efforts dans le cadre de l\u2019acad\u00e9mie k2i\u00a0ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9s par <a href=\"https:\/\/lassonde.yorku.ca\/impact-of-lassondes-k2i-academy-recognized-through-ministers-award-of-excellence-in-the-category-of-equality-of-opportunity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">le Prix minist\u00e9riel d\u2019excellence de l\u2019Ontario dans la cat\u00e9gorie \u00c9galit\u00e9 des chances.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En travaillant main dans la main avec un groupe visionnaire d\u2019entreprises, d\u2019organisations et d\u2019associations du secteur, Lassonde a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9, con\u00e7u et lanc\u00e9 le premier programme d\u2019\u00e9tudes enti\u00e8rement int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail au Canada, offrant aux \u00e9tudiant(e)s la possibilit\u00e9 de gagner un salaire comp\u00e9titif tout en poursuivant leurs \u00e9tudes. Ce concept progressiste vise \u00e0 \u00e9liminer les obstacles financiers qui limitent les groupes marginalis\u00e9s dans les disciplines STIM et \u00e0 s\u2019adresser aux apprenant(e)s non noires<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"body-text has-default-font-size\"><p>L\u2019acad\u00e9mie k2i de Lassonde a re\u00e7u 463 800 $ du minist\u00e8re des Affaires civiques et du Multiculturalisme de l\u2019Ontario pour \u00e9laborer et mettre en \u0153uvre un programme \u00e9ducatif unique microcertifi\u00e9 de Majeure haute sp\u00e9cialisation (MHS), destin\u00e9 aux jeunes des communaut\u00e9s noires de la septi\u00e8me \u00e0 la douzi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e dans le cadre du programme Bringing STEM to Life: In Schools de l\u2019acad\u00e9mie k2i. Dans le cadre de ce programme, l\u2019acad\u00e9mie k2i travaillera avec certains des conseils scolaires les plus importants et les plus diversifi\u00e9s de la r\u00e9gion du Grand Toronto (RGT), afin de concevoir et de mettre en \u0153uvre un programme cibl\u00e9 et sur mesure visant \u00e0 atteindre plus de 1500 jeunes des communaut\u00e9s noires et \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 lutter contre les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s pour les jeunes des communaut\u00e9s noires dans les disciplines de la science, de la technologie, de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et des math\u00e9matiques (STIM). Les \u00e9tudiant(e)s de ce nouveau programme travaillent \u00e0 temps plein pendant quatre ans et gagnent un salaire tout en \u00e9tudiant, afin d\u2019obtenir un baccalaur\u00e9at \u00e8s sciences appliqu\u00e9es (B.Sc.A.).
