Professor Dan Zhang elected as Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers

Lassonde Professor Dan Zhang has been elected as Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers promotes the art, science and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe.

Dan Zhang joined the Mechanical Engineering department in January 2016. He is also the Kaneff Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics.

His research interests include robotics and mechatronics, high-performance parallel robotic machine development, micro/nanomanipulation and MEMS devices and rehabilitation and rescue robots.
