Ping Wang Honored with Lassonde Innovation Award and IEEE Best Survey Paper Award

We are thrilled to celebrate Ping Wang’s outstanding achievements, which highlight her dedication and significant contributions to the field.

She has been awarded the Lassonde Innovation Award 2024, recognizing her pioneering research in wireless communications and AI-powered networks, and her efforts to push the boundaries of scientific innovation.

Ping’s contributions have significantly advanced Lassonde and York’s research capacity, with over 250 high-impact publications and a Tier-2 York Research Chair.

In addition, Ping has received the prestigious IEEE Communications Society Best Survey Paper Award for her paper titled “Applications of Deep Reinforcement Learning in Communications and Networking: A Survey.”

This accolade, co-authored with Nguyen Cong Luong, Dinh Thai Hoang, Shimin Gong, Dusit Niyato, Ying-Chang Liang, and Dong In Kim, underscores the collaborative efforts and significant impact of her research.
