SMART-ART Annual Summit – 2022

The first  Annual Summit of the SMART-ART Program was held between 17-20 May 2022. The conference was held in a hybrid model. Prof. Jennifer Steeves, Associate Vice-President Research (AVPR) inaugurated the event. Dr. Jian-Feng Shi, MDA Space delivered a guest talk on “Next Generation Space Exploration and Commercial Robotics”. Ms. Dalia El Farra, Advisor, Institutional Initiatives, York University and Ms. Carolina S. Ruiz, Advisor, Education & Communications, York University delivered an EDI guest talk on “An introduction to EDI & the Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion”. 12 graduate students (Master and Doctoral level) presented about their research activities.
