Professor Aijun An was appointed a Tier 1 York Research Chair in AI-Driven Data Science.  Not only is she engaging in partnerships to build AI Tools customized for specific industries, but her cutting-edge work in data mining, natural language and machine learning is helping make big data systems faster and smarter!

Professor James Elder aims to create innovative and practical computer vision algorithms and machine vision systems by drawing inspiration from how biological systems process visual information.
