In March 2025, MOVE’s Interim Director, Professor Sunil Bisnath, represented York University at Hannover Messe, one of the world’s largest industry development trade fairs in Hannover, Germany. At the SmartTO/York University booth, Professor Bisnath showcased MOVE’s cutting-edge research in Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies for vehicle and pedestrian mobility, highlighting advancements in high-precision positioning, sensor fusion, and resilient positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT).
His presentation demonstrated how GNSS and integrated positioning systems can significantly improve accuracy and reliability for connected and autonomous mobility applications. Participation at Hannover Messe strengthened MOVE’s global visibility and fostered international partnerships in next-generation mobility innovation.
