Lassonde School of Engineering recently welcomed faculty from Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK, including the Head of the Department of Construction Management, for a week of research exchange and collaboration. Hosted by MOVE member, Professor Mojgan Jadidi, the visit brought together Lassonde faculty, leadership, York International, and researchers from MOVE, CD3, and the High Bay Lab to strengthen institutional partnerships and explore collaborative opportunities in Digital Twins, intelligent data analytics, and construction innovation.
As part of the visit, NTU researchers delivered a workshop, “Addressing Gaps in Digital Twin & Intelligent Data Analytics in Construction,” featuring presentations on smart and sustainable built environments, construction innovation, and emerging digital technologies.
The visit established a strong foundation for future collaboration through research discussions, lab tours, knowledge exchange, and joint planning. Building on this momentum, Lassonde faculty will visit NTU later this summer to advance collaborative research, student engagement, and international partnership initiatives.
