Prestigious scholarships and recognitions

  • One of our master’s students was awarded the prestigious Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program, allowing her to participate in a two-month student exchange for collaborative research at the University of Boras, Sweden.
  • One of our students had their poster, “The Emerging Biodiversity Market: The Conservation Impact Bond in Southwestern Ontario,” accepted by the United Nations’ science-policy platform for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). It was displayed in person at the 10th Plenary Stakeholder Day, representing York University and focusing on educating the public about environmental finance tools.
  • A student was awarded the Mitacs Globalink Research Award to conduct research at the University of Minho in Portugal from April 2022 to March 2023.
