There is a 3D printing service available to the students. If you need to book the 3D Printer, please visit: https://lassonde.apps01.yorku.ca/machform/view.php?id=72131 and complete this form. For users from industry and other universities, please email the Mechanical Engineering department for information on access & testing.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING GRADUATE STUDENTS:
1. Send an e-mail to the mechanical technicians asking for a time for training.*
2. Enter the rental equipment website and book a day and a time (at least 24 hours in advance).
3. Training must be provided by the Mechanical Engineering Technicians before equipment can be used. A refresher training should be done every 6 months.
4. Before the training or using the equipment, the user must read the documentation related to the equipment (Operating Manual and Safety instructions, SOPs, videos, etc.). All the documentation of the equipment can be accessed from the rental website.
5. Inspect the equipment prior to each use for any deficiencies or damage. Please report all damaged or missing equipment to the mechanical technicians immediately.
6. After using the equipment, please make sure to clean both equipment and workspace.
*If you have less than 6 months of training for that equipment, go to the step 2.
