Required Advising
What is Required Advising?
All Lassonde students are required, by their program, to participate in a Required Advising session at least once per year. The purpose of Required Advising is to keep you informed of your degree requirements and important updates to your curriculum, and University and Faculty policies and procedures. We also want to help you understand what is expected of you as a student and how we can help you create clear and attainable goals. Required Advising also helps students and Academic Advisors connect with one another.

Advising Webinars
Advisor Webinar Series
The Lassonde Academic Advising team has recorded a series of webinars to assist our students with their studies and navigating administrative processes within Lassonde and at York. A webinar is an online video presentation that you can review anytime, anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection and speakers. Our webinars include bookmarks and are also transcribed for ease of use and to make notes should you wish. If you have any difficulty reviewing or accessing our webinars, connect with an Academic Advisor.
