Advisor Webinar Series
The Lassonde Academic Advising team has recorded a series of webinars to assist our students with their studies and navigating administrative processes within Lassonde and at York. A webinar is an online video presentation that you can review anytime, anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection and speakers. Our webinars include bookmarks and are also transcribed for ease of use and to make notes should you wish. In the Fall term, Academic Advisors distribute an advising presentation complete with important information students should know during their first year. If you missed your presentation or want a refresher, online webinar recordings are available below. An Academic Advisor will discuss a variety of topics relevant to first year students, including grades and minimum GPA requirements, important dates, additional support resources, academic honesty, co-op and internship, and more.

Excelling in your Online Courses
Regardless of your year level of study, adapting to online learning can be challenging for many students. To support your success, we've gathered some information specific to this topic:

Drop Deadline / Withdrawal "W" Webinar
Review our webinar dedicated to drop deadlines and late withdrawal "W" deadlines. An Academic Advisor will discuss important things to consider as drop and "W" deadlines come and go (e.g., academic and financial implications, petitions, etc.).
