Declaring Your Engineering Major

Who uses this process?

First year Engineering students who started in 2016-17 or who are undeclared must declare a major in their second term in the BEng at Lassonde. For example, if you started in Fall 2016 you will have to declare in the Winter 2017 term.

Please note: Students will be blocked from enrolling in courses for the next Fall/Winter session if they have not declared a major by the end of their second term in Engineering.

What are the minimum academic requirements to declare my major?

Undeclared students must be eligible to continue in Engineering in order to declare their Engineering major.

Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission into your first choice of program.
