John Moores interviewed by the CBC

Lassonde professor John Moores has been interviewed by the CBC about the discovery of methane on Mars by the NASA rover.

John Moores, who is a space engineering professor and a leading expert on Mars, was the co-author of a new paper published this week in the journal Science on the subject. As the news story reports, the paper identified a spike in methane levels – about one part per billion — near the Gale Crater.

Moores goes on to explain that the explanation for these findings has not yet been determined, and the puzzle remains to be solved.
