Minister of Science visits Lassonde

On Friday September 9 The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, visited the Lassonde School of Engineering.

Minister Duncan received the Lassonde Award for Contribution to Women in Leadership, presented by Founding Dean Janusz Kozinski.

She also met Lassonde students who presented their summer research projects and answered questions about the work they’ve been doing at Lassonde.

Students Semi Hasaj, Juan Guzman, Bita Yousefi Pihani and Parastoo Baghaei Ravari had previously presented their projects at the So You Think You Can Research Lassonde Undergraduate Research Conference in August.
