Celebratory symposium held in honour of John Tsotsos

A spoken festschrift and celebratory symposium was held at York University to celebrate Professor John Tsotsos’ past and ongoing contributions to the understanding of computer vision, and vision science more generally.

A collection of international experts in vision science including Demetri Terzopoulos (University of California, Los Angeles), Sven Dickinson (University of Toronto), Henrik I. Christensen (University of California, San Diego), and Jens-Max Hopf (Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg) helped to highlight John’s ongoing contributions to the field.
