Lassonde professor wins Best Short Paper at Computer Animation and Social Agents Conference


Professor Petros Faloutsos has won the 2015 Best Short Paper Award at the Computer Animation and Social Agents Conference.

Prof. Faloutos, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, received the accolade for the co-authored paper titled, “Robust Spacetime Footsteps for Agent-Based Steering”.

The paper was published in the conference proceedings in collaboration with two of Petros’ former graduate students, Glen Berseth at York University and Mubbasir Kapdia at UCLA.
