Lassonde in York University’s President’s Report 2015

The President’s Report features some of Lassonde’s people, awards and impact in 2015.

In addition, the cover of the report is the façade of Lassonde’s own Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence.

The report also recognizes Lassonde professor John Tsosos, who received the Royal Society’s Sir William Dawson Medal earlier this year as well as alumnus and donor Douglas Bergeron who received a Bryden Alumni Award for his contributions and achievements.

President’s Report recognized Lassonde’s academics as well – Professor Mike Daly’s laser altimeter that will create a 3‑D model of the asteroid Bennu during a Nasa mission and the government approval of expansion of graduate programs in Mechanical and Civil Engineering.
