Vassilios Tzerpos

Bio

Vassilios received his Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 2001 and joined York University in the fall of the same year. His research used to focus on software reverse engineering and computer security. He is now the director of the APTLY lab that focuses on research topics that connect computers and music, such as automatic music classification, transcription, and generation. He also runs the LaSSoftE lab that develops software for socially aware causes.
