Bio
Almost 20 years experience in the space engineering profession in Canada. Work experience includes both technical engineering roles as well as supervisory positions.
Specific missions include: Intelsat 7, Radarsat-1, Cold Plasma Analyzer, MOPITT (Measurements of Pollution in the Troposphere), Scisat-1, CFZF (Shuttle Experiment), MOST (Microvariability and Oscillations of STars), Canada-led Mars Mission (study only), Argus Sensor Operations Team.
Research Interests
- Using design, development, launch and operations of nanosatellites to increase student engagement with engineering curriculum.
- Low cost spacecraft development, launch and operations.
- Use of industrial and open source software tools in engineering curriculum.
