Ghazaleh Mohseni receives the 2023 Innovation of the Year Award from the Institute of Transportation Engineers

Congratulations to Ghazaleh Mohseni, a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering who recently received the 2023 Innovation of the Year Award from the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE)!

Mohseni is supervised by Professors Peter Park and Mehdi Nourinejad,

Mohseni was honoured with the award in recognition of her Strategic Interactive Planner Tool for Bike-Share Systems at ITE’s annual general meeting in December 2023. This tool is a cloud-based platform which offers a balanced approach to transportation planning by allowing bike-share stakeholders to choose station locations, dock capacity, fleet size and other properties to establish an equitable and accessible system.
